When is the check-in / check-out times?
Check-in is at 2pm & check-out is at 11am. We will try to have your room ready as soon as possible. Guests are more than welcome to use common areas before check-in and after check-out.

Do I need identification?
Yes, you must present a valid passport or national identification (i.e. Nicaraguan Cedula) upon check-in.
Can I store my luggage before/during/after my stay?
Yes, of course! We’d be happy to store your luggage in the reception area before/after check-in. We will accommodate your bags in a safe area.
How can I book tours and activities?
All tours and activities can be booked in advance via email or at any point during your stay at the Casa Oro Hostel Reception. Any of our team members at the hotels can happily call Casa Oro Reception for you as well.
Breakfast is included, and we offer a variety of food made fresh every day for purchase. We have different options delivered from Cafe Oro close by.
Nicaragua is amongst the safest countries in Central America. We have a team member present at every property 24 hours/day and we also work with a private security company who does rounds throughout the night. You are very safe here. Like always though, be sure to lock your door and secure valuables when you leave.
We have street parking outside the building. This is a safe place to park as we have staff and guards on site 24/7. Parking is free of charge. At Hotel Pacifico and Casa Ruth, we offer secured private parking.
Unfortunately no outside animals or pets allowed at our places.
Yes, we have free fiber optic internet and WiFi throughout the property. We have gone great lengths to get the best internet provider in Nicaragua. We are in Nicaragua and sometimes, service fluctuates, sometimes the power goes out, and they’re great opportunities to disconnect from the rest of the world.
No, absolutely no smoking in the rooms nor anywhere inside the building. Failure to follow this rule can result in a fine of $250 USD.
You can bring both food and alcohol in to our hotels. Outside alcohol is not permitted in Casa Oro Hostel, you can buy beers on the first floor. Please respect quiet hours when hanging out at night in common areas. Food can also be delivered from our restaurant in Casa Oro straight to your room between 8am and 8pm.
Unfortunately we do not have a wheelchair accessible property.
We accept both US dollars and local currency, Nicaraguan Cordobas.
Drinking tap water is not recommended. We have locally made clay filters that are widely used across Nicaragua and the world. Hydrate like a CHAMP! Re-fill your water bottles and help us reduce plastic bottle waste. We have also have recycle bins at our place.
All of our private rooms come equipped with towels, full linen set and very comfortable pillows. Dorm rooms do not include towels.
Yes, we are pleased to offer in-house laundry service. Price is $7 US per load. You can expect to receive your clothes within 24 hours- washed, dried and folded neatly.
We are happy to come and refresh your room whenever you wish. We like to respect your privacy and the environment, so if you do not reach out, we understand you prefer not to have any cleaning done. Please let us know if you need a change of towels or bed linen during your stay. We will be happy to assist.
Outside visitors are only allowed on the property if permission has been granted exclusively by us. We thank you in advance for respecting this rule.
