“This place is a gem! I feel that this place needs to get more positive reviews since the owner changed recently and they deserve it for the following reasons: -location: near enough to enjoy the city vibes but far enough to get out of the loudness of SJDS. Great walk to get to el mirador del Cristo – 15-20 min, to enjoy a wonderful view of the bay, mountains and ocean. It was very nice as well to enjoy their pool during the day. -room: got a delux room: large room with a desk and closet, air cond, wifi, great view on the bay and mountains, quiet, very clean, patio door, balcony… -food: need to know that only the breakfast is included (great food though). It’s possible to order and get deliver your lunch or diner for 3-4 usd$, as delivery fees from Casa Oro. Food is delicious and got a very fast service. Also good to know that you can have filtered water for free – perfect to refill your own bottle of water. Huge asset thanks for doing that! -transport: they offer free shuttle during the day to downtown SJDS (or a 15 min walk) and shuttle as well for various beaches. Another great asset! Vary reliable services. -staff: the staff makes the difference. Kuddo to all of them who make you feel like part of their family and sincerely want to make the best of your stay. I would definitively go back”

Very decent, large room, AC, small refreshing pool, bar area, kitchen and fridge at your disposal with all the services Casa Oro can provide you like food delivery or free shuttle into town. Cruz, the Nica manager is super nice and available anytime and guards the spot like a pro! Extra laid back location right down the Cristo in a quiet neighborhood a block from the beach and away from the noisy center of San Juan. Stayed there for an entire month and did not regret it! “Best value hotel in San Juan del Sur – clean and excellent service! We were extremely happy with our stay here – so much so we extended our stay longer than originally planned. This was the best location and bang for the buck. The rooms were clean and air conditioned, with well working facilities. The service was THE Best. The property supervisor, Cruz, was a true gentleman and took care of all the guests. The guy made the stay much more enjoyable and you can tell me genuinely cares for his guests and their well being. He helped immensely with planning and language barriers with third party event groups including shuttles. 10 of 10 would stay again! Can’t beat it. Give Cruz a raise, he deserves it ?”
