At night you head to the beach at the La Flor Reserve. With luck, an olive ridley turtle comes out of the sea to lay her eggs in the sand; depending on the date, it's the hatchlings emerging on the beach instead. More than 150,000 come to nest every year, and La Flor is one of the few places in the world where you can watch them.
