Experiences/ Surf lesson
First you learn on the sand, feet planted and your instructor beside you. Then you paddle into the Pacific to wait for the wave that's yours. The wind blows offshore here all day, more than 300 days a year, and the board is yours until the day ends.
We leave from Casa Oro, one block west of the central park, where the school is, heading to Playa Maderas or Playa Remanso.
Before you get wet, your instructor shows you the basics on dry land.
Between sand and water it's about an hour and a half of relaxed class, in Spanish or English.
The board is yours all day: the lesson ends, the practice doesn't.
